Phil Spector House, Los Angeles, Calf. – On the night of February 3, 2003, music producer, Phil Spector shot and killed actress, Lana Clarkson, in an attempt to keep her from leaving the mansion. Spector claimed that Clarkson had committed suicide but a jury found him guilty of 2nd degree murder.

‘Taliesin’, Frank Lloyd Wright Home, Spring Green, Wis. – The home of Frank Lloyd Wright was terrorized by an axe wielding ex-employee, Julian Carlton, on August 15, 1914. Wright was not at the estate at the time that seven people were murdered by Carlton.

LaBianca House, Los Angeles, Calf. – In a second night of killing, (Tate and friends on August 8) Charles Manson and his followers killed Leno and Rosemary LaBianca on the night of August 9, 1969. The two victims, Leno and Rosemary, had been stabbed a total of 53 times by Mason’s minions.

Dahmer House, Bath, Ohio – Jeffrey Dahmer, the Milwaukee Cannibal, killed his first victim, Steven Hicks, with a barbell in his family’s home in Bath, Ohio. At the time of the murder, Dahmer was 18 years old. Fearing detection, Jeffrey dissolved Hicks body in acid, crushed his bones and scattered them in the woods below the house.

He attempted to kill his 18 year old daughter with the same hammer but the young girl survived. The doctor took his own life by consuming pills. The house has remained vacant since 1959.

Greystone, Los Angeles, Calf. – The official reports indicate that the very wealthy oil heir, E.L. Doheny, Jr. shot and killed his personal secretary, Theodore Plunkett. Doheny then poured a glass of whisky and shot himself in the head. The caused for the murder/suicide is unclear although wild speculation runs rampant.

Cullen Davis, who was the ex-husband of wounded victim, Pricilla Childers. Davis was tried and acquitted for the murder of Pricilla’s daughter, Andrea Wilborn. The murders remain unsolved.

On the afternoon of December 26, 1996, JonBenet was found strangled in the family’s basement and no sign of forced entry. Investigators originally suspected her parents of the crime, however, the murder remains unsolved.

On the night of October 12, 1978, the homes owners, Ed and Sophia Friendly, and their housekeeper Frances Williams, were savagely gunned down by an unknown assailant in the first triple homicide in Palm Springs history.

John Wayne Gacy House, Chicago, Ill. – American serial killer, John Wayne Gacy, killed 33 boys and young men in this quaint Norwood Park home. Gacy, also referred to as the ‘Killer Clown’, buried 26 of his victims under the crawlspace of this house. The house was razed after the discoveries.

Travis Alexander’s House, Mesa, AZ – On the afternoon of June 4, 2008, Travis Alexander was stabbed, shot and had his throat cut by his sometimes girlfriend Jodi Arias. Although Arias claimed self defense, a jury found her guilty of murder on May 8, 2013 and sentenced her to natural life in prison.

Tom Neal House, Palm Springs, Calf. – Broadway and screen actor, Thomas C. Neal, shot and killed his third wife, Gale Bennett, in this Palm Springs home, on April 2, 1965. Appearing on stage and in films from the 1930’s to the 1950’s, Neal’s days as a star were over by the late 1950’s. At the time of Gale Bennett’s death, Neal owned a small landscaping company in Palm Springs.

The Oxford Apartments, Milwaukee, Wis. – When Jeffery Dahmer moved into apartment #213 of the Oxford Apartment Building, in 1988, he had already killed 6 young men. He would continue to kill and in some instances, consume body parts of his victims. When he was captured, Dahmer had killed 11 more young men and boys in the apartment. Police found the stored, frozen body parts of several of his victims within the small apartment. The building was razed shortly after the discovery.

Routier House, Rowlett, TX – Dallas County prosecutors claimed that Darlie Routier murdered two of her sons, (Damon, 5 Devon, 6) within this suburban Rowlett home on the night of June 6, 1996. The boys had been stabbed multiple times and Darlie was injured. Although she has claimed her innocence, she was found guilty of murder and sentenced to death.
